The French language is considered the official dialect of love and the French townships and countryside has a multitude of fascinating scenery that will make you fall deeper in love with the country. There is so much to see in France and below are some of the sites you must see while you explore France.
The Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel tower is the iconic landmark that the French proudly embody. The 8,000 metallic monument that majestically stands in the middle of Paris, France’s capital, is perhaps the most visited site in the country.
This feat of ingenuity that has been given the name of the Iron lady stands 320 meters above the ground. People touring the tower take the elevator to either the first or second level and enjoy a meal on both levels as they appreciate the breathtaking panorama below them.
For people who find standing in line for hours, a tire may decide to take a guided tour up the stairs instead. While still in Paris, be sure to go for a Paris bar crawl, it will, for sure, be an experience to end your day in the most epic way.
The Louvre Museum
Previously, the Louvre museum was the home to the former French kings and their families. This old home to the royals is still substantially upheld as it is home to the most extensive collection of fine arts across any place in Europe.
The legendary Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci is found mounted gracefully in one of the rooms in this museum. Louvre Museum has more than 30,000 pieces of artwork that would take a person more than a day to take it all in. Besides paintings, there are sculptures and artistic artifacts throughout the museum.
The Côte d’Azur
The Côte d’ Azur coastline is bordered by the beautiful turquoise-green waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The name Côte d’ Azur actually translates to the coast of blue in English. The serene coastline stretches from Saint Tropez all the way to Menton which is near the border of Italy and France.
Along the shore, you may enjoy a fishing adventure at Saint Tropez, get tickets for a film festival at Cannes, take basks on the sandy beaches of Antibes and finally take a dip in Monaco.
As you enjoy all these sceneries, be sure to stop over the luxurious villas for a night or two in Monaco. You can also go for an offshore party on a yacht while you are there.
